Schalke’s Florian Flick has joined Nürnberg on loan.
1. FC Nürnberg have confirmed the signing of Florian Flick on a six-month loan deal from Schalke 04.
“With the loan signing of Florian Flick, we have strengthened our defense for the second half of the season. We are pleased that he has decided to join us and that he will start an ambitious second half of the season with us,” said director of sport Dieter Hecking.
22-year-old Flick, who has featured 10 times for Schalke this season, commented:
“Of course, my goal is to play as often as possible for FCN in the second half of the season. To achieve that, I will word hard in pre-season.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and the staff and, above all, of course, to helping the team in the remaining part of the season.”
