Alexander Nübel has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich have confirmed a contract extension for Alexander Nübel, who is currently on loan at VfB Stuttgart.
Nübel’s contract with the Bavarians has been extended from 2025 to 2029, with the 27-year-old to remain on loan at Stuttgart for two more seasons.
“We’re pleased we could agree to a long-term extension with Alexander Nübel,” said Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl.
“He’s made excellent progress in recent years and is among Germany’s best goalkeepers. He can continue to play at a high level at VfB Stuttgart. FC Bayern is superbly positioned now and for the future in the goalkeeper department with Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Daniel Peretz and Alexander Nübel.”
Nübel said:
“I’m very happy about this decision and the trust that FC Bayern has shown in me. At the same time, I feel very good in Stuttgart. I want to enjoy success with VfB and take my next steps personally.”
The goalkeeper joined Bayern from Schalke 04 in 2020. He was on loan at Monaco between 2021 and 2023.
