Noah Okafor changes agent amid AC Milan interest

RB Salzburg striker Noah Okafor has changed his agent in a bid to move to a top club in the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Swiss sensation has now joined the agency of Sport 360, having already declined a contract extension offer from Salzburg.

Okafor has grown into one of the most exciting prospects in Europe in recent years. He has racked up ten goals and five assists this season, including the goals against Chelsea and AC Milan in the Champions League, which has attracted a lot of suitors.

Among the interested clubs are Rossoneri, who have identified the Swiss international as one of the primary targets for the striker position next summer.

Milan would be left with Olivier Giroud – contract extension is on the cards – as the only striker for the next season, as both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Divock Origi are facing uncertain futures, with the latter not fulfilling the expectations since his free transfer from Liverpool.

Okafor is high on the wishlist of Rossoneri, and he is valued at around €25 million by the Austrian champions.

The above report adds that Milan are expected to make contact with Sport360 sooner to broker a deal for Okafor.

Milan directors Ricky Massara and Paolo Madini have earned a reputation for snapping up the best exciting talents in Europe and bringing them to the spotlight. Okafor could be next in line.

Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani and Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund are also on the radar of Milan as potential attacking targets, while Lorenzo Colombo, currently on loan at Lecce from Milan, is another option being considered.

Rossoneri have also expressed their interest in Boca Juniors striker Mateo Retegui, who has been enjoying an eye-catching loan spell at Tigre with his goal-scoring exploits.

The former Argentinian youth international has been called up by the Italian national team for the Euro Qualifiers.
