Sky Germany and Bild report that Werder Bremen striker Niclas Füllkrug is a candidate to replace Randal Kolo Muani at Eintracht Frankfurt if the Frenchman leaves this summer.
PSG and Frankfurt continue negotiations over Kolo Muani but there is no new offer yet as Frankfurt holds their stance over the €100m fee they want for the 24-year-old.
Füllkrug is an option to replace Kolo Muani and Bremen will demand a fee of around €20m for the 30-year-old, however, Frankfurt will want to pay closer to €10m with add-ons raising the fee. If Bremen receives the right fee and they are able to find a successor before the deadline then they will be willing to sell the 30-year-old this summer.
The striker has been is discussions over signing a new contract with Bremen but it is unlikely that he will sign a new contract before the transfer deadline on the 1st September.
PSG’s Hugo Ekitike is another candidate to replace Kolo Muani and VfB Stuttgart’s Sehrou Guirassy, however, the latter has committed himself to Stuttgart for this season.
