Bild report this morning that as well as Yann Sommer, OGC Nice are interested in signing Marcus Thuram and Alassane Pléa from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Sommer has already reached an agreement with Nice as negotiations between the two clubs regarding the transfer continue.
Former Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund head coach Lucien Favre returned to Nice last month and is also targeting Thuram and Pléa.
Both Thuram and Pléa are entering the final year of their contracts and as Gladbach undergo a rebuild following the appointment of Daniel Farke, they could be forced to sell two of their highest earners to raise transfer funds, or risk losing the French duo on free transfers next summer.
Pléa (29) played under Favre during their time together at Nice between 2016 and 2018 whilst Thuram (24) has an excellent reputation in France and could play alongside brother Khephren Thuram.
