Alassane Pléa is one of the Gladbach players, who have been linked with OGC Nice following former ‘Die Fohlen’ coach Lucien Favre’s arrival at the French club.
According to Nice-Matin, the Ligue 1 side are hoping to get Pléa in a cut-price deal, as the player is out of contract in 2023 and has turned down a new deal with Gladbach.
Per the French local publication, Nice are offering as little as €5 million for the 29-year-old.
Plea played under Favre both at Nice and Gladbach. The forward found the net 10 times and set up eight goals in 33 Bundesliga games last season.
