Paul Wanner has shown his qualities at his last two loan stations Elversberg and Heidenheim – now he could make the next big step to one of the biggest teams in the Bundesliga.
28 games and 9 goal involvements for Elversberg, 41 games and 10 goal involvements for Heidenheim – is it the right time to take the next step for Bayern Munich’s Paul Wanner?
According to “Sport BILD”, Paul Wanner is being targeted as a possible replacement for Enzo Millot at Stuttgart! Many rumours are linking Millot with a transfer to Dortmund among others also.
Bayern on the other hand are looking to loan out their talent Paul Wanner to a “bigger” club which plays international football next season – Stuttgart would therefore be a great fit.
Their loan-plan for Wanner has been working out greatly so far: he proved to be a game changer in the 2. Bundesliga and was able to show his qualities for a “smaller” Bundesliga side, too.
Now it’s time for Wanner to prove that he can hang with the biggest players on the biggest stages – whether it’s in the Champions League or the Europa League, but definetly in a team with top quality players.
At this moment it’s not clear, whether Stuttgart would agree to just a loan deal; a transfer including a buy-back-clause could be an option, too.
