Newcastle United and Milan are interested in acquiring the services of Roma defender Roger Ibanez this summer.
Il Messaggero (via TMW) have reported about the situation of Ibanez, claiming that the defender is one of the players who could depart the Giallorossi this summer despite having done well under Jose Mourinho last season. The Brazilian himself is not sure about his future.
Enquiries from Newcastle United and other Premier League sides have arrived and his profile is being evaluated by the Rossoneri as well, with Milan looking to add depth to their centre-back positions. As things stand, Roma value Ibanez at around €20 million.
The 23-year-old arrived at Roma initially on loan in January 2020 from Atalanta but moved permanently last summer after a loan stint of a season and a half, where he also did well under Paulo Fonseca before Mourinho joined in the summer of 2021.
