With the Serie A having reached the end following this weekend, Napoli are now set to hold significant talks with the entourage of Victor Osimhen regarding the striker’s future at the club.
Sky Sport, via TMW, reports that club-owner Aurelio De Laurentiis will meet with the 24 year-old’s agent Roberto Calenda next week in order to determine whether the Nigerian international will remain with the Partenopei beyond this year’s campaign.
As it stands, De Laurentiis has no intentions of selling Osimhen within the summer window, unless an irresistible offer around the region of €120m is submitted for the world-class finisher.
With Osimhen having played a vital role in Spalletti’s title-winning campaign, finishing the season as the leading goal-scorer with a total 26 goals in 32 games-played, the rising star has attracted the interest of many European giants such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.
Currently, Napoli have not started negotiation talks with Osimhen as the former Lille striker’s contract with the Partenopei only expires in the summer of 2025. However, should the discussions between both parties end in a positive matter, Napoli would be eager to begin discussing a long-term renewal.
