Serie A champions Napoli have made contact for Igor Tudor, as they look to hire a new manager to replace Rudi Garcia.
Napoli’s 1-0 loss to Empoli means that Garcia’s job is in deep trouble and it seems as if a decision about his sacking has already been made, with CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis ready to announce his sacking once a replacement has been sorted.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Tudor has been contacted by the Partenopei and he is seen as a potential option to replace Garcia. He was contacted earlier today and the ex-Verona boss has made it clear that he wants time to think about his next decision in the career.
This evening, there will be a meeting involving the club and his agent and Tudor is keen on having a meeting with De Laurentiis soon.
Fabio Cannavaro has also been linked with the role but it seems as if Tudor is seen as a more capable option.
