Napoli have set their sights on Stade De Reims central midfielder Jens Cajuste.
According to reports from La Repubblica, via TuttoNapoli, the Partenopei view the 23 year-old as an ideal signing within the central area of the pitch to serve as a vice Franck Anguissa, as his profile offers physicality within Garcia’s three-midfield formation.
Within last year’s campaign, the 23 year-old Swedish holding-midfielder amassed three goals and one assist in 31 games-played in the Ligue 1.
With Frenchman Tanguy Ndombele having returned to Tottenham this summer following the conclusion of his loan-spell at Napoli, as well as the potential departure of star midfielder Piotr Zielinski as his contract with the Azzurri is set to expire next summer, last year’s Serie A champions are assessing the possibility of potentially acquiring the €6m Reims midfielder in order to add reinforcements heading into the upcoming season.
