Serie A side Napoli gear up to bid for Lecce’s Patrick Dorgu.
According to a report by Il Mattino via Calcio Napoli 24, Napoli have emerged as a potential outfit to land the signature of Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu this winter.
The Partenopei have received the approval of the player as he wants to play under Antonio Conte but the Salentini are looking to setup an auction for him instead of giving free passage to the Neapolitans.
Napoli CEO Aurelio De Laurentiis has verbally put forward a bid of €30 million but Lecce are trying to get more than what is on the table. De Laurentiis is not expected to break the bank next month to sign Dorgu but certain developments are set to take place soon regarding the transfer.
In other news, Napoli have refrained from selling Giovanni Simeone during this upcoming transfer window after rumours surged about his potential departure to fund other moves.
