The wrestling Mount Rushmore debate is a tale as old as time. Names such as Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are often brought up, with the aforementioned Hogan also being mentioned more often than not. A valid entrant into the discourse, with his popularity and influence on the business being second to none, it is Hogan’s antics outside the business that has ruined his reputation.

Involved in numerous controversies, many of which he has not apologised for or reportedly given a desultory apology, many within the business continue to hold Hogan accountable for his actions. One of those is former WWE Superstar MVP, who can now be found in All Elite Wrestling. Speaking to BetInside, Montel Vontavious Porter revealed why he doesn’t include Hogan in the Mount Rushmore debates.

“Would I say Macho Man should be on it, in my opinion? Absolutely, he should be on it. There are many people that would make the case that Hulk Hogan should be on it…I think he’s disqualified in my opinion, because…he’s who he is. Self-admitted, unapologetic, so that’s that.”
