AS Monaco are without three key players through suspension when they face Toulouse FC on Sunday afternoon. Wissam Ben Yedder, Aleksandr Golovin and Soungoutou Magassa all miss the encounter, providing the chance for Folarin Balogun to return to the starting lineup.
As well as the aforementioned suspended trio, Monaco will also be without Vanderson, who suffered an injury ahead of last Sunday’s Côte d’Azur derby and Krépin Diatta, who like Vanderson is expected to return within the next fortnight. Wilfried Singo returns to the squad following Ivory Coast’s triumph in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), however, having suffered a minor hamstring injury in the semi-final of the competition, he will likely start from the bench, meaning that Adi Hütter may once again choose to deploy a 4-3-3.
Monaco likely lineup v Toulouse
Philipp Köhn; Ismail Jakobs, Mohamed Salisu, Guillermo Maripán, Thilo Kehrer; Mohammed Camara, Denis Zakaria, Youssouf Fofana; Takumi Minamino, Folarin Balogun, Eliesse Ben Seghir.
