After his impressive showing in the Trophée des Champions defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last weekend, Philipp Köhn will replace Radoslaw Majecki in goal for AS Monaco when they travel to face FC Nantes on Friday night.
Edan Diop and Krépin Diatta, both of whom have been long-term absentees for the Principality club, could return. Both are expected to be named in the matchday squad, although neither is expected to start for Monaco against Les Canaris. Christian Mawissa and Folarin Balogun are the only major absentees. The latter could be out until April having undergone an operation on a shoulder injury.
In Balogun’s absence, it is expected that Breel Embolo will lead the line with George Ilenikhena dropping to the bench, having started against PSG in Doha last weekend.
