Serie A giants Milan now seem set to move Noah Okafor on, with the Swiss forward now on the verge of joining German side RB Leipzig.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that negotiations for Okafor started off in a promising manner but they then hit a stalemate. The player was initially expected in Germany on the 10th of January but the stalemate meant that the move was delayed for some days.
The deal has now been unblocked, with the Milan man moving to the German club on an initial loan deal with the option to buy at €25 million. He will now head to Germany tomorrow morning and undergo a medical with the Red Bull outfit.
Okafor is already famiiar with the Red Bull model, having previously joined Milan from Salzburg. His exit is likely to make space for Marcus Rashford, who continues to be a target for the Rossoneri but is believed to be exploring all of his options before making a final decision.
