Milan youngster Luka Romero is now nearing a loan move to Spanish side Almeria.
Romero had joined Milan in the summer transfer window after his contract at Lazio expired. He hasn’t quite broken into the Rossoneri first-team and that is why he could be set to leave the club this month.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the situation of the youngster, stating that a loan move to Almeria is edging closer. Multiple clubs are interested in him and so were Boca Juniors, but the move to Argentine club has now gone cold, as the youngster prepares to join Almeria.
Serie B side Como and Lecce were also interested in the teenager, but the loan move will not have any option to buy for Almeria. Romero’s current deal with Milan runs out in the summer of 2027 and this season, the 19-year-old has made four appearances in the Serie A and he played once in the Coppa Italia.
