Serbian striker Luka Jovic is now nearing the possibility of signing a new deal at Serie A giants Milan and extending his stint at the club.
Jovic recently scored a vital goal for Milan against Frosinone and it his fifth goal of the Serie A, with the striker having turned out to be a pivotal signing from Fiorentina. He had initially joined on a one-year deal but he could now stay longer.
Luca Bianchin has reported that Milan are now keeping tabs on Jovic’s progress and they have been left impressed. Jovic’s contract runs out in the summer but there is an option to extend it further. They will also be able to extend the deal after every season.
Talks will soon open between the parties and while they haven’t opened up yet, they could also talk about whether they want to have a classic contract. The situation is unlikely to drag on till the end of the season and will probably be sorted out in the current campaign.
