Serie A giants Milan have been working to sign Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund. While there has been progress about a deal, the player hasn’t shown an openness towards a transfer.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that Milan are ready to close an initial loan deal with an option to buy. But Hojlund is yet to agree, even if Manchester United are keen to move him on after the arrival of Benjamin Sesko.
The Dane is convinced that he can still make a mark at Old Trafford and wants to stay. To change his mind, Milan sporting director Igli Tare has flown to England to convince Hojlund about a departure from Manchester United.
The striker believes that if he leaves, he would like a permanent exit and not an initial loan departure.
Tare is likely to make attempts for a week and then, Milan will move on to other targets like Goncalo Ramos and Nicolas Jackson.
