Milan set to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada

Milan are now close to sealing their free transfer for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada.

Sky Italia have reported that with Kamada’s deal at the club expiring in June, he has given the go-ahead to a move to the Rossoneri in the summer. Milan, who were taking their time regarding the final decision about the midfielder, have now decided to close the move and seal it.

Kamada’s signing will take place in the midst of the uncertainty surrounding the future of Brahim Diaz, whose fate at Milan is yet to be decided as his loan deal from Real Madrid runs out at the end of June.

This season, Kamada impressed for the Eagles. He scored nine goals and racked up seven assists, while scoring 16 times in all competitions. He also played in the World Cup in Qatar, helping Japan reach the Round of 16 of the competition as they were eliminated by Croatia.
