Serie A giants Milan are ready to put in an offer for Alejo Véliz, according to Sky Italia. The Argentine player is 19 years old, and is a striker. He plays for Rosario Central, and has caught the eye of a few European teams. Torino and Nottingham Forrest are two of the sides currently interested in the striker. His release clause is €15 million, and Milan are ready to pull the trigger.
Torino have already submitted a bid for the Argentine, but Rosario felt it was too low, and are holding out. Véliz possesses characteristics that this Milan side could benefit from. He is right footed and physically strong, and also has decent aerial ability. He would be the back up for Olivier Giroud.
The striker scored 11 goals for Rosario in the league last season, in 23 games. Milan see him as a long term prospect and are looking to wrap up his signature quickly.
