According to L’Équipe, FC Metz are considering a shock bid to bring Miralem Pjanic (33) back to the club. The Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder is one of a number of profiles being considered by Les Grenats.
Metz are looking to go on the offensive before the end of the transfer window. A No.10 is a priority for the club, who are looking to stave off relegation to Ligue 2. One profile being considered is Pjanic, who currently plays his club football in the UAE for Sharjah FC. The former Juventus and Barcelona midfielder came through the club’s academy.
Yann M’Vila, who had been linked with a return to Sunderland, is also being considered, as is Valentin Eysseric, who has entered into the final six months of his contract at Turkish club Fatih Karagümrük. Gaël Kakuta, currently plying his trade at Ligue 2 side SC Amiens, is another name being considered, but at the time of writing, Metz are yet to make concrete steps to sign any of the aforementioned targets.
