Memphis Depay flew this morning from Barcelona to Madrid ahead of completing his move to Atlético Madrid, report Mundo Deportivo.
After his arrival at Barajas airport in the Spanish capital, he went to the Clínica Universidad de Navarra to undergo his medical.
After completing the medical, the Dutch international will head to the Cívitas Metropolitano stadium to sign his contract with Atlético Madrid’s directors.
The 28-year-old forward will put pen to paper on a deal until 2025. After that both Barcelona and Atlético will officially announce the transfer.
The Madrid club will pay €3m plus €1m in variables and there will be an option to buy Yannick Carrasco for between €15m and €20m.
In the afternoon, Depay will have his first training session under head coach Diego Simeone.
