The “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” reports that Konstantinos Mavropanos has not travelled along with his team to Saxony ahead of the coming encounter against Leipzig.

Stuttgart’s injury woes ahead of tomorrow’s clash with RB Leipzig have evidently worsened. Defender Kostas Mavropanos has, according to the local Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper, did not travel with the team on Thursday. The news likely means that either Pascal Stenzel or Josha Vagnoman will start at right-back whilst Waldemar Anton moves into central defense.
At a Thursday media round, Stuttgart trainer Bruno Labbadia expressed hope that the Greek centerback might be able to recover in time for upcoming fixture. Labbadia nevertheless also remarked that Mavropanos was having some vision issues after suffering an eye laceration in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim; which he finished playing in a bloodied turban.
