With Adrien Rabiot (30) being pushed towards the exit door, Olympique de Marseille will be looking to bring in a reinforcement in midfield before the closure of the transfer window.
The Frenchman was involved in a dressing room bust-up with Jonathan Rowe, who has since left the club. Both were placed on OM’s transfer list as a result. There are plenty of suitors for the former Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, although for now, no team has made a concrete approach.
However, they are already working on adding another player to their midfield in the form of Dani Ceballos (29), according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. The Spaniard is considered a dream target for Marseille, according to the Italian journalist.
OM are looking to sign Ceballos on a loan deal with a buy option. However, a deal will prove difficult. Initial talks between Les Phocéens and Real Madrid have already taken place, however.
