Portuguese transfer expert Pedro Almeida reports that the first exploratory talks between FC Bayern München and Chelsea F.C. over the offloading of attacker Sadio Mané took place last weekend.

Chelsea F.C. have emerged as the first potential suitors for Senegalese attacker Sadio Mané, at least according to Portuguese transfer expert Pedro Almeida. The freelancer wrote on twitter today that the German record champions contacted the London Blues regarding their desired offload of the 31-year-old this past weekend.
The general consensus in German footballing circles remains that Bayern do not wish merely to sell the attacker, but involve him in a swap deal so as to ensure that they can at least acquire one classic center-forward ahead of next year’s campaign. Chelsea do not currently possess a true nine with comparable value to Mané.
