Manchester United rejected the chance to sign Adrien Rabiot as they were asked to pay a premium figure for the Frenchman.
Carlo Laudisa has reported that while Rabiot has signed a new deal with Juve, the midfielder’s mother-agent had asked for a €10 million per season wage on a three-year deal from United. She had also asked for a hefty signing-on bonus of around €10 million.
United immediately refused and amidst that refusal, Juve’s contract offer came and those around Rabiot liked what was on the plate.
He will earn €7 million per season and if conditions for a bonuses are met, he could earn €8 million per season. He feels very comfortable at Juve and he enjoys the liking of Max Allegri, who played a key role in the signing of the deal. Because of Growth Decree, Juve are also saving up some funds and that makes it a favourable situation for the Bianconeri.
