Sports Zone are reporting that Aymeric Laporte (29) is on the verge of joining Saudi side Al Nassr. The French-born Spanish international is set to sign a three-year deal with the club.
Laporte’s time at Manchester City is almost at an end. Having joined from Athletic Bilbao for €65m back in 2018, he went on to make 180 appearances for the Premier League side, winning every trophy possible during that time. However, he has now lost his place in the side with the arrival of Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig.
After many weeks of negotiations, Laporte’s move to Al Nassr is almost sealed. The Spanish international will sign a three-year deal with the club and will earn $15m net per annum. He joins a team that contains Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, Marcelo Brozović and former RC Lens midfielder Seko Fofana. As reported by The Athletic, Manchester City have already accepted Al Nassr’s offer for Laporte.
