As reported by Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, Premier League duo Manchester City and Liverpool are amongst the clubs interested in signing RB Salzburg attacker Noah Okafor.
As of now, there are no negotiations between interested parties, of which Italian side Milan are also included. Per Plettigoal, Manchester United aren’t in for the Swiss forward, who will represent his country at the World Cup this month.
In September, it was reported that Milan are planning to reinforce their attack with Okafor being on their radar. A move for the 22-year-old – who has scored 10 and created two across 22 games in all competitions this season – would cost a reported fee between €35m and €40m.
Okafor has a contract until 2024 and if a new agreement isn’t reached, it could mean a departure from the Austrian champions in either January or the summer, to avoid risk looking the player on a free.
