
Sky Germany reports that there is an obligatory €1.5 million purchase clause in the loan arrangement should the player reach a certain number of deployments.
“Aymen wanted a change of scenery and a chance at more playing time,” FSV sporting director Martin Schmidt noted in a statement, “The loan to Hertha accords him a chance at that.”
“I’m happy to be here with a club that truly belongs in the Bundesliga,” the 18-times-capped Moroccan international himself said, “Now I hope to help the team achieve its goals and, together, achieve as much success as possible.”
“Aymen is an experienced Bundesliga player who has also gained international experience [in the Europa League],” Hertha’s sporting director Benjamin Weber said, “He can be deployed flexibly in central midfield and can help us immediately. He can boost our game with his skills.”
