Mainz have completed the signing of Tom Krauß from RB Leipzig.
Tom Krauß has joined Mainz 05 from RB Leipzig on a permanent basis.
The 22-year-old has signed a long-term contract with Die Nullfünfer.
“Tom is a typical Mainz 05 transfer. He’s a youth international, fully identifies with our philosophy and is excited for the next step of his career here,” commented Mainz sporting director Martin Schmidt.
“Tom’s style of play and mentality will fit right in here at FSV and he will be a great addition to our squad.”
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Schalke 04, where he was a regular starter and made 32 Bundesliga appearances.
