Luis Enrique has spoken in his pre-match press conference ahead of Spain against Germany on Sunday.
Germany will have to go on the attack and therefore leave space in behind. Will you take that into account when you’re putting your team together?
“I think Germany always play on the attack and the need for their first result can be a conditioning factor. They will try to run. They are similar to Spain in terms of dominating the game and controlling it. It’s a challenge. It will be an open game and we will see which team will win,” the Spain boss said in words transcribed by AS.
What does it mean to play against Germany?
“You look at their jersey and you see four stars but Spain is on par with any of the big teams. If anyone knows how to compete, it’s Germany and they are capable of changing their dynamic.”
Gavi has surprised the world…
“The most surprising thing for everyone is that someone at 18 years old has that kind of confidence and the way he competes. Gavi is surprising for everything, for his ability to master the technical aspects of the game, his physical ability, his work. We have to go little by little but nobody doubts that he can be a player who will mark an era.”
