Anderson Lucoqui has left Mainz to join Hertha on a one-year deal.

Hertha BSC have strengthened at the left-back position, with Anderson Lucoqui joining from Mainz.
The 26-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the capital club, who were relegated from the Bundesliga last season.
“We are pleased that Anderson has decided to join Hertha BSC. With his athleticism, his speed and his mentality, he increases our options in defence,” said Hertha boss Benjamin Weber.
Lucoqui added:
“Hertha is a big club, a club absolutely steeped in tradition. I am proud to now be a part of this and will give everything in every training session and every game to contribute to a successful season.”
