Liverpool are ‘100%’ interested in luring Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham to Anfield but will be concerned by Manchester City also vying for his signature, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The Reds broke their club-record transfer fee when they parted with £85million to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica during the summer, but it appears boss Jurgen Klopp is preparing to splash the cash once again.

What’s the latest news involving Bellingham?
According to Football Insider, Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have urged Bellingham to join Liverpool at the end of the season.
The report suggests conversations were held during last month’s international break, with the Dortmund man taking his number of England caps up to 17 thanks to starting the Nations League clashes with Italy and Germany.
But Manchester City are in a similar position as CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has previously revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Erling Haaland has ‘directly told’ Bellingham that he should make the switch to the Etihad Stadium.
It is understood that Bundesliga giants Dortmund are willing to sanction the 19-year-old central midfielder’s departure, amid additional interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United, if an upfront fee of £83million is paid next summer.
Liverpool are reportedly making strong progress in their attempts to get a deal in place ahead of a switch to Merseyside at the end of the season.
What has Dharmesh Sheth said about Bellingham?
Sheth is confident that Liverpool will be among the clubs queueing to acquire Bellingham during the 2023 summer transfer window.
However, the Sky Sports reporter feels the Reds will be fearful of the influence Haaland could play in Premier League rivals Manchester City’s pursuit.
Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: “Money will talk and, come next summer, Liverpool 100% will be interested in signing him.
“But I’m sure they will be worried if Erling Haaland has been in Jude Bellingham’s ear to say, ‘City is the place for you and not anywhere else in Europe’.”
Would Bellingham be a good signing by Liverpool?
Liverpool skipper Henderson certainly thinks so, having praised Bellingham’s ‘mentality’ and described him as an ‘amazing player’, while former England winger Andros Townsend has labelled him a ‘special talent’.
Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and James Milner’s respective contracts are set to expire next summer, meaning Klopp could see three of his current options in the heart of the midfield depart unless fresh terms are agreed.
Arthur Melo’s loan agreement will also lapse at the end of the campaign, so he will leave the Reds unless Liverpool take advantage of the £32million purchase option written into the deal which was struck with Juventus on transfer deadline day last month.
