Liverpool have increased their attention on Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, Sky Germany cites the Sunday Times.
Having reportedly opted out of pursuing Jude Bellingham due to financial reasons, Liverpool are keen on the 20-year-old Dutch international.
Gravenberch has struggled for playing time since joining Bayern from Ajax last summer for €20m. Under Julian Nagelsmann, it was unlikely that the midfielder would leave on loan in the summer. However, with Thomas Tuchel now in charge, there might be an opportunity for more game time elsewhere either on loan or a permanent transfer.
Liverpool have to undergo a squad rebuild this summer, particularly in their midfield. The Dutchman is seen as a primary target for Jürgen Klopp.
As per the report, Gravenberch would come with a price tag of around €30m.
Gravenberch has featured 27 times this season, which includes 18 appearances in Bundesliga mostly from the bench. During these games, the 20-year-old has scored just once in the DFB Pokal.
