Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayer Leverkusen have rejected an initial bid for Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa.
According to the Italian transfer market insider, Aston Villa offered €35 million plus add-ons for the French winger.
Although the ‘Werkself’ rejected the offer, negotiations are still ongoing, with Diaby apparently keen to make the move to Villa Park.
Diaby, 24, has been playing for Leverkusen since 2019. He has two years left on his contract.
