Vitesse coach Thomas Letsch has confirmed that he’s in talks with VfL Bochum about becoming their new head coach.
In an interview with Dutch newspaper De Gelderlander, Letsch admitted that Bochum have reached out to him, saying that while he respects his contract, it’s clear that the Bundesliga is always attractive for a German coach.
“Every now and then chances and opportunities arise, then circumstances change,” said Letsch.
However, there is currently no agreement with Vitesse, where Letsch is under contract until the end of the season.
Following Bochum’s sacking of Thomas Reis, U19 coach Heiko Butscher has been put in charge on an interim basis.
