Leroy Sané has reportedly decided to spend the 2023/24 season at Bayern Munich.
The Germany international had been linked with a move away from the club after an up-and-down 2022/23 campaign.
However, according to Sport Bild, it’s now clear that he will remain at the Allianz Arena.
One of the reasons for this is that Sané wants to put himself in contention for a starting spot at Euro 2024 on home soil.
In Munich, he knows exactly what is expected of him, while a move to a new club would be more risky.
However, it remains to be seen whether Sané’s long-term future lies in Munich. His contract only runs until 2025, so a decision on his future will have to be made after next season at the latest.
