RB Leipzig wing-back Angelino is set to join Roma after having given the Bundesliga outfits the green light to terminate his loan with Galatasary early in favour of embarking on a new journey with the Giallorossi.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the the 27 year-old is prepared to depart Istanbul in order to arrive in Rome tomorrow morning ahead of his medicals this coming week as both clubs have agreed on a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy worth €6m.
Throughout the first half of the 2023/24 campaign, Angelino made a total of eight appearances during his loan-spell with the Turkish giants. However, the Spanish international failed to find continuity as Galatasaray’s obligation to buy Angelino was about to be triggered.
Consequently, the wing-back ultimately decided to part ways with Galatasaray as he is eager to play at the capital club as he seeks to attain a predominate role on the pitch.
