According to Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City have agreed to sign Bayer Leverkusen forward Adam Hložek.
It had previously been reported that the Premier League outfit were keen on luring the Czech international away from the BayArena this summer.
However, now a deal is almost complete, with the two clubs agreeing on a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign after a positive round of talks earlier today.
Nevertheless, it is understood that Leicester have yet to agree to personal terms with the 22-year-old.
Further discussions between the Foxes and Hložek will take place later today, and once an agreement is made, the deal will be all but finalised.
Should certain criteria be met over the course of the season, Leicester will pay Leverkusen €20 million for Hložek.
Since joining Die Wekself in 2022, the 22-year-old has featured 80 times, scoring 14 goals and registering 11 assists for the Bundesliga champions.
