Lazio remain eager in acquiring the services of Napoli central midfielder Michael Folorunsho as the summer transfer market enters the final stages.
Whilst the Biancocelesti have been monitoring the Italian international for some time and have expressed interest over the past couple of months, transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio mentions that the capital club have not reached an agreement regarding the specific formula in order to pursue their primary target to bolster the midfield.
Coach Antonio Conte has made it clear that Folorunsho is not part of his plans this season. Hence, the club is looking for solutions in order to offload the 26-year-old midfielder.
Consequently, Lazio are prepared to make an attempt as they view him as the ideal profile to provide additional depth in the midfield.
Whilst out on loan last season to Verona from the Partenopei, Folorunsho attained five goals and one assist in 34 appearances for the Gialloblu.
