Lazio agree deal to sign Chelsea target Arsen Zakharyan

Italian giants Lazio have made a breakthrough in their pursuit of Arsen Zakharyan. According to Sky Italia, Lazio and Dynamo Moscow have agreed a deal for the highly-rated 20-year-old attacker.

The deal is worth €10 million plus bonuses, and the Russian club has given the green light for the move.

This agreement means Lazio can now proceed with the next crucial step – negotiating personal terms with Zakharyan.

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri will be thrilled about the prospect of bolstering his squad ahead of the new season.

Zakharyan’s creativity, exquisite dribbling skills, and eye for goal will add a new dimension to Lazio’s attacking prowess.

Interestingly, the excitement doesn’t end there for the Biancocelesti faithful. The club is also in talks with former Eintracht Frankfurt star Daichi Kamada.

The Japanese international has been a free agent since he departed from Frankfurt this summer.

Kamada was on the verge of joining Milan, but the deal broke down following the departure of Milan sporting director Paolo Madini. And then Lazio’s interest emerged.

However, amid the excitement, a dilemma now looms large for Lazio’s management. The Serie A side has only two non-European spots left in their squad, meaning they can only complete one of the two signings.

The decision now rests on the shoulders of the club’s top brass, who face the daunting task of evaluating the merits of both players.

Zakharyan’s youth and tremendous upside may tilt the scales in his favour. Although, Kamada’s experience and versatility could also make him a compelling choice.

As the club grapples with this difficult decision, fans eagerly await the final verdict, hoping for a positive outcome that sets the tone for a promising season ahead.

Sarri and Lazio’s management will undoubtedly tread carefully, recognising the importance of making the right choice for the team’s future.
