Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has this week been forwarded a message of warning, at the expense of Real Madrid counterpart Jude Bellingham.
This comes amid fresh questions over the latter’s behaviour on the pitch.
The subject of Bellingham’s outbursts and general disrespect towards officials has of course long proven a headline talking point in Spain.
This comes with the England international having been caught in explicit rants against La Liga referees on more than one occasion.
Such outbursts have on occasion cost Bellingham dear, too, to the tune of more than one suspension.
And one individual who has been left ‘worried’ by as much across the current campaign in particular is Liverpool and Scottish football icon Graeme Souness.
In his column for the Daily Mail, as cited by Diario Sport, this week, ex-midfielder Souness wrote:
“Watching Bellingham at Real Madrid lately has worried me. He had an incredible first season in Spain and seemed to be conquering the world, but now I have a bad feeling that he doesn’t listen anymore. I hope I’m wrong, but this season has been a disappointment and you have to question his behaviour sometimes.”
From here, Souness used the Real Madrid man as an example for Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal of how not to act, in adding:
“He is the perfect example of what Lamine Yamal should avoid. Without a doubt, we are seeing the beginning of a very special talent. At only 17 years old he makes decisions that one would expect from much older players.”
