Bayern Munich will reportedly be without Konrad Laimer for several weeks.
The Austria international was injured in Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Union Berlin, and examinations by Bayern’s medical team have not brought good news.
Sky Germany reports that Laimer has torn a muscle fiber in his calf, with the tendon also involved, and that he will be out for around six weeks as a result.
According to Bild, the Austrian international could even be out for up to eight weeks.
In addition to Laimer, Dayot Upamecano suffered a muscle injury against Union and will be out for weeks.
Joshua Kimmich also suffered an injury, falling on his shoulder just before the final whistle. It remains to be seen how serious his injury is.
