The latest installment in the extended flirtation between Kylian Mbappé (25) and Real Madrid was provided by La Liga president Javier Tebas on Monday.
In quotes relayed by Fabrizio Romano, Tebas stated that there is a more than 50% chance of the Frenchman joining Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid at some point in the future.

Earlier in the month, GFFN reported that Madrid had informed the player of their offer to sign him as a free agent upon expiry of his Paris Saint-Germain contract in the summer of 2024, this time placing a deadline on a decision to avoid the long, drawn-out transfer sagas of previous windows.
Mbappé was temporarily placed on the PSG transfer list last summer as he agitated for a move away from the French capital, eventually reconciling with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and being reintegrated into Luis Enrique’s side in late August.
With 19 goals in 18 Ligue 1 appearances this season and a total of 240 goals in 287 appearances since initially joining PSG on loan from AS Monaco in 2017, Mbappé is right up there with the best players in the world and is an indespensible cog in Luis Enrique’s team as the club seeks to move away from its “Bling bling” culture of the past and re-center around a French core made up of local heroes Mbappé and Warren Zaire-Emery, as well as others such as Randall Kolo Muani. However, every player has a price and conventional wisdom tells us that Real Madrid will come again regardless of Mbappé’s contractual situation.
