Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has revealed that he intends to seek out the advice of a fellow Blancos star in his ongoing pursuit of the Ballon d’Or prize.
Frontman Mbappé, for his part, is of course currently considered as being amongst the frontrunners for the next ‘Golden Ball’.
With a haul of 31 goals to his name in his debut season with Real Madrid, the Frenchman is back in the conversation for the standout player in world football at present.
Mbappé himself, though, will be aware that he currently trails the likes of Raphinha and Mohamed Salah in the race for the prestigious award.
Drawn on the subject of the accolade whilst on international duty with France this week, the 26-year-old therefore jokingly suggested that he will seek out the advice of a fellow member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to boost his chances.
The player in question? Luka Modrić:
“Ballon d’Or? I’m going to ask Luka Modrić how to win it (laughs),” Mbappé confirmed.
