Bayer 04 Leverkusen have announced that goalkeeper Matej Kovář has left the club to join PSV on loan, with an option to make the move permanent.
“Matej Kovar made an important contribution to our double win in 2024 with many appearances as the back-up to Lukas Hradecky,” said Bayer 04 managing director sport Simon Rolfes.
“His aspiration now is to be a number one at a top club of Champions League quality.
“We wish Matej lots of success in Eindhoven.”
Kovar joined Leverkusen from Manchester United in 2023 for a reported €5 million fee.
