Pascal Groß and Maximilian Beier are unlikely to be fit for Borussia Dortmund’s Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim on Saturday due to injuries sustained in last week’s 3-2 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach.
“Pascal Groß probably won’t make it. Maxi is still in pain. He didn’t train today. We won’t take any medical risks,” Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac said during a press conference on Thursday.
Marcel Sabitzer, meanwhile, will definitely not feature against Hoffenheim, but he is edging closer to a return.
“Marcel Sabitzer is making good progress. I’m confident he’ll be available after the Hoffenheim match,” Kovac added.
