Joshua Kimmich hopes to be fit for Bayern’s clash with Bayer Leverkusen, but his availability is currently doubtful.

After missing Germany’s 2-1 win over France on Tuesday night due to injury, Joshua Kimmich is in a race against time to be fit for Bayern Munich’s crunch clash with Bayern Leverkusen on Friday.
According to the Abendzeitung, Kimmich’s movement is limited after he took a blow to the thigh in Saturday’s 4-1 loss to Japan.
The midfielder will undergo an examination in Munich today and hopes to return to training tomorrow and play on Friday.
Having won their first three Bundesliga games of the season, Bayern are second behind Leverkusen on goal difference.
