Union Berlin have been rocked by an injury blow ahead of next week’s Bundesliga restart.
The Bundesliga outfit confirmed on Thursday that Rani Khedira has suffered a calf injury and is currently out of training as a result.
The 29-year-old holding midfielder missed the first two months of the season with a calf problem.
He could be replaced by Alex Kral in next week’s match against Freiburg if he isn’t deemed fit enough to play.
